So much to do, so little time

This past weekend was a busy one, and this week is not much different.

We started our weekend at a scorching airshow. 36 degrees Celsius with a wind that felt like you were sitting in front of a blow dryer set on the hottest temperature. I was basically a human hot dog sitting out and getting roasted. Never before have I sweated so much just sitting down. No amount of SPF could help us. We got BURNT! But with all of that said, it was a great time. My hubby is a cargo pilot and flying is his passion. Seeing the airplanes and show was great, but watching his expressions while the acts performed were even better. That is why I love him. He is passionate about something, and I get to support him and be there with him enjoying it
The Thunderbirds stole the show. Just an excellent performance all together. High speeds, loud jets, and sneaky scare your pants off passes. The Snowbirds were good too, but they should have been showed earlier in the show. After being in the sun for eight hours, enthusiasm slowly faded away and all I could think about was an ice cold... air conditioned apartment (thought I was going to say beer, weren't you? ;)). But, being a Canadian airshow they needed to end with a Canadian performance, and it was very good.

This week started off busy and early. First thing Monday morning I had an exam. It was nerve wracking because my regular prof had been absent for a week and a half due to surgery and during that time we had a recently out of university sub. He taught the entire unit on the skeletal system, circulatory system and cardiovascular system. The nerve wracking part of this is that the regular prof wrote the exam not knowing what we had gone over. Perhaps I had stressed a little too much, because the exam was straight to the point. Which I should have known due to the subject material. Huge relief.
Also on Monday I got back a much anticipated math exam and was pleased to see that I received 94.4 %! I will take that over those B's any day!

Today was an all over the place day. Early class that ended up being a lecture for 2 hours and then math that had an "AH-HA!"moment in it (which is always a good thing).
I also had a hair appointment. I always look forward to going to see my hairdresser. She is so awesome and listens to everything I say. It's almost like she reads my mind every time. Maybe that is one of the reasons she has won two hairdressing awards. So, it isn't a surprise that my hair cut looks awesome! I will get color done closer to the fall, which is coming up faster then I would like it to. Where did the summer go?

Finally, I started my personal training today at the gym. Sadly it won't last long. I won a free week pass along with a free personal trainer session. Much to my pleasure, this one session turned in to three! I will admit that I was NOT looking forward to this gym stuff. I had even cancelled and rescheduled like seven times. I really did not want to go. But I am glad that I did. It's nice to have someone show you what to do and how to do it. Also, having someone there watching you, means you have to give it 100% and not quit.

So that has been my week so far. For the rest of the week I have a lab to complete, an exam on Thursday and I need to cram as much information as I can into my brain so I can study for another exam on Monday. Lots to do, and it always seems like I have no time.
