When I grow up, I am going to be the tooth fairy

So we all know that I am 22 and that I am a student, but what about all the details that entail?

I will start off with my passion: dentistry.

I call dentistry my passion because it has been what I have wanted to do ever since I was 4. Way back in 1992 I was asked (like most children are) what I wanted to be when I "grew up". I stated that I wanted to be the tooth fairy and was devastated when I found out that she did not exist. From there I decided that since I couldn't be the tooth fairy I would be the next best thing: a dentist.

I was the child that looked forward to going to the dentist and being able to sit in the "big chair". All of the tools intrigued me (my favorites being the suction instrument and the sprayer) and I always had thousands of questions. After my own appointment was done and I got my pack of sugar free gum and sticker, I would go over to the next room and investigate as they cleaned my younger sisters teeth.

I was always shocked to hear that all of my friends hated the dentist. That they thought they were "scary" and "mean". I just couldn't wrap my head around all of these accusations, after all, I considered the dentist to be one of my best friends and couldn't wait to go back for my 6 month check up.

It was destiny.
